Finding and Using Information: Digital Skills slides

Downloadable slides from the library's online workshops 2021

Digital Skills workshops for students at UL

Feel empowered with new skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed at your academic work, while enriching your digital life.

The Library, in collaboration with ITD and CTL provided digital skills workshops for students in Weeks 4, 5 & 6 of Semester 2. These workshops were designed in direct response to student feedback in the INDeX (Irish National Digital Experience) survey.  The series has concluded now but you can reserve a space for yourself at the library's upcoming workshops by visiting the library's events webpage and navigating to the date and event that interests you.

The digital skills workshops saw over 2,600 signups over 3 weeks and 20 hours of instruction delivered by UL librarians, ITD and CTL supported by UL students, showcasing the tools and technologies that are available at UL to assist students with academic work.
Please use the slides in your own teaching, or refer your students to recordings of the Digital Skills workshops.
Contact Michelle Breen, Head of Information Services in the Glucksman Library if you wish to know more about this series of workshops.
