EndNote Desktop has more functionality than EndNote online, including customising output styles for specific publications. Synchronise it with EndNote online to continue to work on any PC on- or off-campus.
EndNote Online (previously called EndNote web) is a web based version of EndNote and your references are stored in the cloud on Clarivate Analytics servers. It has all the functionality you need to store and use references, plus customised styles. It can be accessed from anywhere at any time.
