BrowZine at UL : Getting Started

Peer-Reviewed Journals on a browsable 'shelf'

BrowZine creates the online equivalent experience of browsing a newsstand and reading a print journal. BrowZine consolidates thousands of peer-reviewed journals that the University subscribes to and delivers them to your phone, tablet or computer.
The BrowZine service is brought to you by the library and is free for all UL students, faculty, researchers and staff to install and use. Let us know what you think of it and if you need any help getting started.

Using BrowZine through the app

To use BrowZine via your browser, visit the Library's BrowZine site. When prompted, select University of Limerick and sign in using your UL network ID (firstname.lastname for staff, UL Student ID number for students) and password. From here you can search for journals, browse content and access articles.

Alternatively, you can download and install the free BrowZine app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. When you open BrowZine for the first time, you’ll see a list of libraries – search for and select University of LimerickLog in using your usual UL network ID (firstname.lastname for staff, UL Student ID number for students)

Go to Settings in the BrowZine app to set up a BrowZine account.  Setting up an account will allow you to use the "My Bookshelf" feature in BrowZine and create subject alerts and receive notifications when new articles are published. When you try to access articles, you will be prompted to login with your UL Student / Staff ID and password.
