Company of Biologists agreements notes

Introduction: this agreement gives current staff and students at participating institutions:

  • Access to the the following The Company of Biologists (CoB) journals:   Development; Journal of Cell Science; Journal of Experimental Biology                                                                                                                                     
  • The ability to make their articles accepted for publication in all The Company of Biologists journals open access without author-facing article processing charges (APCs).

Agreement period: 1 Jan 2023 — 31 Dec 2025

What journals are covered

Approximately 10,000 journals are covered by IReL agreements.  IReL have created a google doc that is updated regularly with all the journal titles covered by this agreement

Columns G and H of the linked spreadsheet will also give an indication if a fund is due to run out before the year end and the projected date it will run out.
