The Glucksman Library has over 450,000 ebooks in its collections to support teaching, learning and research. This comprehensive, multidisciplinary collection of ebooks will support the curriculum at UL and make it easier for students to interact with books no matter where they are or when they need the books. The collection includes titles from SAGE, Routledge, Wiley Blackwell, Oxford University Press, Elsevier, Springer and many other reputable academic publishers. UL staff and students can access ebooks 24 hours a day via the UL Library Search. The library's ebooks are listed on the catalogue but most of the titles are on a platform called Ebook Central. You can create a free account on Ebook Central which will allow you to download, annotate and highlight digital copies of an ebook and export citations and content from some of the ebooks. Your notes are preserved on your Ebook Central account and can be retrieved by logging in.
Teaching staff who want new ebooks to add to your module reading lists should send the module code and book details to libinfo@ul.ie
